The boost to your career in business IT
Not a standard traineeship, but a growth path in which you work and learn. With training in ERP or WMS, soft skill training and personal coaching, you will lift your process power and personal leadership to a higher level.

Year 1
ERP or WMS training and personal professional development
In the first year of the Next Level program, you will complete training in ERP or WMS and engage in your personal professional development. Every month you will have a Next Level training day at one of our training locations. Sometimes the focus is on targeted IT hard skills, other times on personal professional development.
At the organization where you work, you will get to work on concrete improvement projects. You will be involved in optimizing business processes by means of ERP and WMS systems. You will bridge the gap between IT and business, for example by implementing or improving ERP systems, automating workflows and analyzing data-driven processes. In addition, you attend training courses in the area of personal professional development. Good to know. These training courses are officially recognized by the SPEN (Stichting Permanente Educatie Nederland) as college level. These trainings focus on themes such as talent development, resilience, change management and cultural diversity. In addition to the training courses, you will receive intensive guidance from a Talent Coach linked to you.
The ERP and WMS training focuses on immediate impact in practice. You not only follow theory about system design and process optimization, you immediately apply it to the organization where you are posted. During the course you will analyze business processes, formulate improvement proposals and actively participate in the design or optimization of ERP or WMS systems. Think about configuring new functionalities, building dashboards or improving data flows between systems. In this way you will develop into a Business IT professional with impact at the interface of process and technology. And you will directly deliver added value for your client.
This part of the NextLevel program revolves around your personal and professional growth. You learn to understand yourself better: what drives you, where are your talents, how do you make decisions and what sometimes holds you back? During the training you will examine your thinking patterns and learn to look at situations more objectively. You gain insight into how you cooperate, communicate and influence in a changing environment. Themes such as resilience, talent development, change management and cultural diversity are central. And what you learn, you immediately apply in practice. For example, in your business IT project, where you work with different stakeholders and have to deal with change and resistance. In short: you develop yourself and the skills to make impact.
Year 2
Personal leadership
In the second year of the NextLevel program, you will continue to work on your personal professional development. This year is all about leadership. In the broadest sense of the word. Every two months you will have a Next Level training day at one of our training locations.
You explore how to take ownership, what your beliefs are, and how to work more effectively together as a team. After each session you immediately put what you have learned into practice at the organization where you work. During this year you will receive intensive guidance from your Talent Coach. Together you work specifically on your learning goals, so that you can take steps with confidence and vision in your growth as a professional.
In this part of the NextLevel program, you develop a sharper vision of your leadership style. You will learn to consciously use that style in a way that suits you and is effective in practice. We address themes such as forming cohesive (virtual) teams, recognizing different perspectives and creating connection. Because you often work in changing circumstances, you also learn to work with change models that you can immediately apply in practice. In this way you strengthen your personal power, develop leadership skills that work and increase your impact in organizations that are constantly changing.
Interim or secondment?
As a professional, you choose what suits you best. You have the choice between two forms of secondment. Permanent employment with one client or an appointment for interim projects where you remain employed by NextGen.
As an interim professional, you will be permanently employed by NextGen and will work on projects of a temporary nature in the area of Supply Chain & Operations. Think of improvement projects with a specific duration, temporary replacement of someone's colleague or temporary support during busy times. You get the opportunity to experience different positions at different companies. This way you can discover what you like, what you are good at and what your ideal career path is.
In addition to your work, you will participate in the Next Level program. During this program you will get to know yourself (even) better. You will work on your personal development. You will discover where your talents and qualities lie. And how you can make the most of them. You will also be trained to become an ASQ-certified LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt. During this process, you will be intensively coached and guided by one of our Talent Coaches.
As an interim professional, you will also attend a master class in the field of Supply Chain & Operations once every three months. You will attend this master class together with all the other interim professionals and the theme is knowledge sharing. But of course you also have fun.
If you apply for a client's job through us, you will join NextGen according to its terms of employment. You simply work at the client every day. But NextGen is your legal employer from whom you will receive your monthly salary. While you are working for the client, we have a lot of contact and keep a close eye on whether you are doing well. At the end of your Next Level program, you will be permanently employed by the client.
In addition to your job, you will participate in the Next Level program. You will be trained as an ASQ-certified LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt and coached in the implementation of process improvement at your client. You will also work on your personal development. You will get to know yourself (even) better. Together with our Talent Coaches you will discover where your talents and qualities lie. And how you can make the most of them.
