Your role as Production Supervisor Assembly

As Production Supervisor Assembly, you will be responsible for managing multiple assembly teams (+/- 20 FTE) within the Production Assembly department. You will ensure that people, resources, and planning are optimally aligned so that mobile tower cranes are delivered safely, with high quality, and according to schedule.

You are closely involved in operations, but also liaise intensively with management and departments such as Engineering, QSE, Logistics, HR, and Purchasing. With your coaching leadership style, you motivate your teams, improve processes, and identify bottlenecks before they have an impact.

What are you concerned with?

In this role, you combine leadership with process management. You translate the annual plan into a concrete capacity plan and, together with the co-operating team lead, continuously monitor the progress of the production process. Together with the Co-operating Team Leaders, you determine priorities and ensure the efficient deployment of people and resources.

You maintain an overview of quality, safety, and planning and make adjustments where necessary. You identify structural bottlenecks in, for example, material supply, capacity, or quality in a timely manner and discuss them with the appropriate stakeholders. With a structural focus on improvement, you look beyond day-to-day operations: how can we prevent this in the future?

You also play an important role in employee development. You coach team leaders and technicians, participate in project teams, ensure a good induction process for new colleagues, and monitor knowledge and skills within the teams. In this way, you create a safe, structured working environment in which collaboration and development are central.
