Finance and Control Specialist at NextGen

As a Finance and Control Specialist, you are the financial conscience of our organization. You are responsible for our financial administration and ensure that everything is correct, on time, and provides insight. You work independently, but maintain close contact with colleagues and external parties.

Your role is broad and varied. From daily administration to contributing ideas for improvements: you are right at the heart of things. That makes this position not only educational, but also impactful. You will develop from a financial conscience to a substantive sparring partner and work closely with our managing director. In this way, your responsibility will grow along with NextGen's ambitions.

Broadly speaking, that means:

  • Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Taking care of personnel administration
  • Preparing monthly reports and financial statements
  • Preparing the financial statements
  • Preparatory and supervisory work for payroll administration
  • Administration relating to (sick) leave
  • Compliance and internal controls

NextGen's team

At NextGen, you work with people who do what they say and say what they do. We are enthusiastic, committed, and work together to achieve growth. For our professionals, our clients, and our organization.

This way of working together fits who we are. NextGen is more than just a staffing agency. We combine staffing with coaching and development of (young) professionals in Supply Chain & Operations and Business IT. Focus on personal development, trust in each other, and enjoyment of work are central to this.

You notice this in your daily work. You are given the space to really make your role your own and to contribute ideas on how things can be done smarter, better, or more efficiently. Freedom, flexibility, and responsibility go hand in hand.

And, of course, job satisfaction is part of the package: team outings, drinks, joint events, and a good work-life balance.
