Would you like to work for a leading manufacturer of ultra-clean systems for the high-tech industry? Does optimizing production processes and serving as the link between engineering and the shop floor energize you? Then this is your chance! We are looking for an NPI Engineer for Smink Group who wants to take production processes to the next level.

NPI Engineer at Smink Group

As an NPI Engineer at Smink Group, you will gain a thorough understanding of the product and manufacturing processes and seamlessly transfer that knowledge to High Volume Manufacturing. You serve as the link between engineering, quality, procurement, and the production floor. You ensure that the product manufacturing process is optimally organized, from the customer’s design to the assembled final product.

Every day, you’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners. You’ll review customer drawings for manufacturability, create production process flows, and define routings in the ERP system. You initiate price requests with Purchasing, coordinate with Quality for P-FMEA sessions, and manage work instructions. If something goes differently than planned, you’ll take charge: you’ll investigate the cause, coordinate with those involved, and ensure the process can continue smoothly.

You will also assist in the development of prototypes and pilot products and provide input on resolving issues. In other words, you will combine technical work with a coordinating role. In this way, you will help further professionalize the organization, spending 65% of your time in the office and 35% on the production floor.

What makes this role particularly interesting? Smink Group is growing rapidly. In addition to its existing markets in the semiconductor and pharmaceutical industries, a new division is in the works, and many other markets are on the horizon. Smink Group also develops its own products, such as modules for ultra-clean air. You’ll be helping to drive that growth.
