Logistics Process Engineer at DSV

As a Logistics Process Engineer, you’ll be the driving force behind examining and analyzing processes and translating them into concrete improvements. You’ll work in a small, close-knit team that’s constantly striving for smart and sustainable solutions. You’ll interact with people at all levels—from operators to management—on a daily basis, and you’ll always be able to get your message across clearly.

You will work independently and serve as the driving force behind process improvements at the new Almelo site. The operations team is relocating from another location, and the business support team is currently being established; you will be one of the key members of that team. You will be given ample autonomy and responsibility, but you can always consult with your supervisor for guidance.

What you'll be doing:

Translating (internal) customer requests into clear requirements and specifications;
Designing and continuously improving logistics processes that add value for both customers and operations;
Contribute to projects such as automation, customer implementations, and process optimizations in existing warehouses;
Standardizing and further professionalizing departmental processes and strengthening collaboration with both internal and external partners;
Involving the operational team in changes: you clearly communicate what is needed and why.

What do you own?

A bachelor's degree in logistics management, supply chain management, (technical) business administration, or engineering;
2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role, such as process improvement, change management, or engineering;
Experience with logistics data analysis and familiarity with WMS or ERP systems;
Proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written;
Persuasiveness and the ability to uncover the underlying question;
You are self-reliant, a go-getter, and enjoy working in a rapidly evolving environment.
