For you, improvement is more than just completing a project. Your Role at Kwant Controls

As a trainee, you’ll be part of the Stroomlijn project team and will work closely with procurement, assembly, logistics, planning, sales, and R&D. You’ll report to the operations manager and, from day one, will have the opportunity to conduct analyses independently and actually implement improvements.

Through data and process analysis, you identify bottlenecks, waste, and opportunities, and translate these into concrete improvement proposals. You make smart use of AI and digital tools and take on hands-on work on the shop floor yourself. This way, you deliver results right from the start.

What you'll be doing:

  • Contribute to and help shape subprojects within the Stroomlijn project;
  • Conducting data and process analyses to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement;
  • Using AI and digital tools to automate analyses and recurring tasks;
  • Translate analyses into improvement proposals and implement them in collaboration with the departments;
  • Measuring, ensuring, and sharing results, and proactively identifying new opportunities for improvement.

Working through NextGen

If you work at NextGen, we invest in you. How? Through our post-graduate program: the Next Level program. Together with you, we’ll work on your personal and professional development. Because while you enjoy your day-to-day work, you want more!

During this program, you’ll get to know yourself even better. You’ll discover your talents and strengths—and how to make the most of them. In addition, you will be trained to become an ASQ-certified LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt. Throughout this program, you will receive intensive coaching and guidance from one of our Talent Coaches. Upon completion of the Next Level program, you will receive a post-bachelor’s diploma.

Of course, you don't do this alone, but together with a group of like-minded people. You build a network. You learn from each other. And we look for fun. Sounds good, right?
