Logistics Process Engineer at DSV
As Logistics Process Engineer at DSV, you will lead projects from design to optimization of logistics processes for the location in 's-Heerenberg. You will map out processes in their entirety. Be it inbound, outbound or internal logistics. Together with your colleagues from the engineering team, you implement new solutions and process improvements for DSV customers.
In this role, you have the freedom to turn your own ideas into actual action. You will work with the latest and most advanced technologies to optimize both existing and future processes. You will also help think about the future of DSV services in terms of efficiency, sustainability and innovation.
This is what you will be doing at DSV
- Translate customer requests into smart and feasible solutions.
- Designing and optimizing logistics processes from A to Z within DSV and for its customers.
- Pinpoint costs and rates with smart calculations, such as warehouse calculations.
- Participate in, or lead projects yourself, to improve logistics processes. Think of large automation projects or implementations of new customers.
- Continuously work to improve processes, both in your own department and with internal and external collaborations.

What do you own?
- A completed college or university degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Technical Business Administration or similar;
- You will have 0 - 3 years working experience in a similar role, based on your experience the position will be shaped;
- You are communicative, customer-oriented, strong-willed, curious, a doer and like to be the spider in the web;
- You have a focus on quality and like to think along about optimizing business processes;
- You have an affinity for WMS systems and have knowledge of data analysis and logistics processes and systems;
- Project management experience is preferred.
