Tactical Purchaser at Mecal High-Tech / Systems
As a Tactical Purchaser at Mecal High-Tech / Systems, you are responsible for selecting, contracting and managing (international) suppliers for the supply of goods and services. Specifically, this involves the procurement of machine support frames. Semiconductor chip machines are placed on these in the clean room for stabilization. In this you are the link between the organization and the suppliers. You work on various projects related to the procurement of machine support frames. You do this together with two other purchasing colleagues. Here you are concerned with monitoring and recording delivery reliability and quality. Of course, you will also be busy optimizing procurement parameters.
What will your duties look like?
- Selecting and contracting (international) suppliers;
- Negotiate prices and delivery terms;
- Manage supplier base and set up preferred suppliers;
- Review and record supplier bids;
- Monitor and record delivery reliability and quality.
To perform your job well, it is important that you have analytical and initiative skills. You are self-reliant and you know how to take responsibility. You are a team player with the ability to connect. And you do this with great enthusiasm. Also not unimportant: you have affinity (and experience) in the technical industry.

What do you own?
- A completed college education in the direction of (Technical) Business Administration;
- Minimum 2 years working experience as an (operational) Purchaser in a technical environment;
- Affinity for engineering;
- Professional command of the Dutch and English languages.
What do we offer you?
- Position of at least 32 hours;
- Open-ended contract;
- An excellent gross salary between €4,000 and €5,500 (based on 40 hours);
- 25 vacation days and 6 ADV days based on 40 hours;
