Procurement Analyst

Procurement Analyst at Abbott
This role will introduce you to all parts of the procurement process. You will ensure that raw materials arrive on time and efficiently at six production sites around the world. In the beginning, the emphasis is on administrative tasks, so that you get to know the process well. At the same time, you will maintain contacts with suppliers, help the purchasing process run smoothly and support with invoicing. The idea is that you organize these activities more and more cleverly, so that you get more and more time for projects and process improvements. This is how you build your career within procurement step by step.
What will you do?
- Prepare annual general purchase orders and manage the entire procurement process.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and delivery times.
- Process purchasing transactions and administration in SAP.
- Review and approve invoices according to internal guidelines.
- Coordinate logistical actions to ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate on process improvements and efficiencies.
- Be the point of contact for questions regarding procurement, contracts and orders.

What do you own?
- A completed college education, preferably commercial economics, technical business administration or logistics management;
- Affinity with supply chain or procurement is a plus;
- You work accurately, are analytically strong and quickly find your way around systems;
- You interact easily with colleagues at different levels;
- You speak and write English fluently (must), Dutch is a plus;
- You are curious, sociable and proactive.

- An excellent gross monthly salary ranging up to €3,700 (based on 40 hours);
