Manufacturing Excellence Engineer at Abbott
As a Manufacturing Excellence Engineer, you will work together with your direct colleague ME Engineers within the Powder production department. In the production support team (the support group – the OG) you are responsible for coordinating all improvement activities. You are the process expert, analyzing and solving recurring problems and continuously improving operational performance. The goal: the highest possible OEE, while maintaining the high quality of products. You do all this in a high-tech environment, in which the latest technology is used. You will work closely with your other colleagues in the OG, who all have their own specialism in areas such as technology, quality and food safety.
What else are you involved in?
In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed above:
- Train and coach your production teams on how to manage their process in a controlled manner;
- Optimize the management operating system;
- You make analyses of the OEE and you determine your (improvement) priorities based on a Pareto analysis;
- You are the 'linking pin' for the organization for your department and you maintain contacts from the shop floor to the Plant Manager;
- Coordinate and lead root cause analyses and investigations into (major) customer complaints.

What do you own?
- A completed bachelor's or master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, Technology & Operations Management or similar;
- You preferably have a (number of) years of work experience in a similar position;
- You have a good command of both the Dutch and English languages;
- You have good communication skills, can convince others and take ownership of your work;
- You have a focus on quality and like to think along about optimizing business processes;
- You like to work together.

- An excellent gross monthly salary that can amount to €5,000 (based on 40 hours);
