Interim or permanant service?
NextGen mediates junior, medior and senior professionals who provide direct support in case of temporary capacity requirements.
As an interim professional, you are permanently employed by NextGen and are deployed for projects of a temporary nature. The intention, therefore, is not to eventually enter employment at the company you’re working at. You work on projects with a specific term or as a temporary replacement for employees that are absent through sickness or on leave.
In addition to your work, you also follow the Management Development programme. In the first year, you follow the regular programme. The second year focuses on Personal Leadership in combination with a course you choose yourself.
Do you require temporary capacity for managing a project, replacing a sick official or during times of peak load? NextGen deploys interim professionals for assignments of a temporary character at higher professional and academic levels.
At NextGen, we work exclusively with the candidates affiliated with our agency. And because we know exactly what kind of talent our agency can bring, we really do provide our clients with the best match.
Permanent is secondment with the intention of arriving at direct employment with the client. The candidate starts through secondment via NextGen and implements concrete process improvements at the company.
If you apply for a job via us, the future employer dictates the employment terms and conditions. You then enter employment at NextGen under those terms and conditions. You work for the client on a daily basis, but NextGen is your legal employer that pays your monthly salary.
In addition to your work, you also follow the Management Development programme. In the first year, you follow a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course, alternated with training courses focusing on your Personal Professional Development. After slightly over a year, you are Green Belt certified as per the standards of the ASQ (American Society for Quality). NextGen coaches you throughout the programme. We maintain close contact and monitor your job satisfaction.
After completion of the first year of the Management Development programme, we do an appraisal. Together with you and the client, we decide whether you should enter employment with the client or rather participate in the second year of the Management Development programme. In that case, you carry out a new project in combination with the course of your choice and further training in Personal Leadership.
Finding specialists that reflect the wishes of your organisation, both now and in the future – that’s the power of NextGen. Because the candidate is directly of value, and thanks to a concrete improvement process, the net investment is very limited or is even recouped within a year.
During the first year, the employee is trained, coached and supervised intensively by NextGen. During the secondment period, NextGen bears the full risk in terms of the candidate’s suitability. If a permanent job follows, then the candidate is already fully up to speed and familiar with the organisation.
