Work, learn and continuously improve. During NextGen’s Next Level Programme you will combine work in practice with a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training course. Furthermore, you will work on your personal professional development and you will build a network with other talented professionals in Operations & Supply Chain.

Jaar 01

Green Belt and personal professional development

You will work on a concrete improvement project in a leading organisation. In addition to your work, you will spend several hours per week on your Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training. You will be trained and coached by one of our Master Black Belts, in accordance with the ASQ (American Society for Quality) standards. You will also work on your personal professional development during this year.

Every month you will attend the Next Level day at our training location. We will spend the morning hours on theory, in the afternoon you will present your project's progress to your fellow students. You will exchange experiences and you will give each other feedback.

At the end of the year we will confer with you and decide whether you will enter the client's employment or whether you will participate in the second year of the Next Level programme.

Our Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training course is custom-made to train improvement and project managers. Our Next Level programme offers you a maximum learning experience: you will immediately apply your knowledge in a project, while at the same time you will realise tangible results for the company you work for. After completion of the training course you may call yourself a trained and certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
This part of the programme focuses on getting to know yourself (even) better. Why do you do what you do and not always what you would like to do? What motivates you and how can you focus even better on what is really important to you? These trainings provide you insight into yourself and into how you behave when you interact with others.

Jaar 02

Personal leadership

In the second year of the Next Level programme you will continue to work on your personal development, focusing on Personal Leadership. You will gain a better insight into your personality and you will learn how to use your leadership qualities effectively in order to achieve the desired results together with your team.

After each session you will carry out practical assignments in your own work situation, which are related to the topics discussed.

Additionally, you will take a tailored training course of your choice, suiting your career ambition.

In addition to your work, you will take a tailored training course at a leading training institute. In consultation with you we will decide what course suits your career ambitions best. In the second year, for instance, we also combine subject matter (knowledge and expertise) with personal development (behaviour, attitude and skills).
Through workshops and practical experience, you will develop the leadership qualities which you need in the current dynamic corporate sector. You will learn to unify by recognising and respecting different points of view and you will develop the capabilities required to build coherent (virtual) teams. Because change is a constant factor, you will be introduced to various change management models and you will learn to apply these in your own work situation.

Interim or permanent?

As a candidate you have the option of permanent employment with one client or an appointment for interim projects, in which case you will remain in the employment of NextGen.

As interim professional you will be in permanent employment of NextGen and you will be deployed for temporary projects. You will work on improvement projects with a specific duration or as a temporary substitute in the event of illness or leave. In addition to your work you will complete the Next Level programme. The first year you will take the regular programme, the second year focuses on personal leadership in combination with a training course of your choice.
If you apply for a job opening through us, you will determine the employment conditions together with the employer. You will subsequently take up employment with NextGen, in accordance with those conditions. You will work for the client on a daily basis. NextGen will be your legal employer who pays your monthly salary. In addition to your work, you will enter the Next Level programme. In the first year you will take a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training course, alternated with trainings aimed at your personal professional development. After slightly more than a year, you will be Green Belt certified in accordance with the ASQ (American Society for Quality) standards. During the programme you will be coached by NextGen. We will consult with you on a regular basis to make sure you feel like you are in the right place. After completion of the first year of the Next-Level programme there will be a consultation meeting. We will decide with you and the client whether you will enter the employment of the client or if you will participate in the second year of the Next Level programme. In case of the latter, you will carry out a new project in combination with a training course of your choice and further training in the area of Personal Leadership.
